Purpose:
--------
This Windows app helps you duplicate a Kobo project (asset) — including the form, all versions, submissions, and media files — without needing to edit any JSON files or use the command line.
It works for both same-account and cross-account transfers.

How to Use:

1. Run the App
--------------
- Double-click KoboTransferAsset.exe.
- The app requires no installation — it runs directly.

⚠️ Important:
When you first copy or download the app, Windows may take several seconds (sometimes up to a minute) to verify and unpack the file.
During that time, the file icon may appear blank (white rectangle).
Please wait until the correct app icon appears before double-clicking.
If you click too early, the app may not open — just wait a short moment and try again.

2. Select Region
----------------
Choose your Kobo region:
- Global (kf.kobotoolbox.org / kc.kobotoolbox.org)
- Humanitarian (eu.kobotoolbox.org)

3. Source Section
-----------------
- API Token: Enter your Kobo API token.
  * If you are copying within the SAME account, this token will also be used automatically for the destination.
- Source Asset UID: Paste the UID of the project you want to duplicate (for example: aUn3WxvubFCcVjaK4BcnFe).

4. Destination Section
----------------------
- Only needed if copying to a DIFFERENT Kobo account.
  Enter the destination user’s API Token.

5. Start Transfer
-----------------
Click **Start**.
The app will:
- Validate your credentials
- Transfer the project asset, versions, and all media
- Deploy the copied form automatically

6. Completion
-------------
When finished, you will see ✅ Done.
Open your Kobo account to view the new project.

- The project name will be the same as the original.
- You can rename it to distinguish the copy.
- The newest one (by "Date modified" or "Date deployed") is your transferred version.

Important Notes:

- If your form contains many submissions or media files, the process may take some time — please be patient.
- Your API tokens are used ONLY to communicate securely with KoboToolbox servers.
  No data is shared or transmitted elsewhere.
- The app does NOT modify or delete your original Kobo projects.
- You can freely rename your copied project later for clarity.
